The full island. Two nights in the Stone Town UNESCO quarter for the history and the food, then three on the north coast for the beach, with a spice farm and Prison Island in between.
Transfer to a heritage hotel in the old quarter. Evening at the Forodhani Gardens night market for grilled seafood and Zanzibar pizza.
Guided walk through the labyrinth: the House of Wonders, the old dispensary, the carved doors, the former slave market and Anglican cathedral, and the Darajani market. Afternoon Prison Island trip for the giant tortoises and snorkelling.
Morning spice farm tour with a Swahili lunch, then continue north to your beach hotel.
Two free days at Nungwi or Kendwa. Optional Mnemba atoll snorkelling, Jozani forest, kite surfing at Paje or a sunset dhow cruise.
Transfer to Zanzibar international airport.
