Transfer Arusha – Central Serengeti: 5 hours. Today, we’ll pick you up from your lodge or airport and drive straight to the heart of the Central Serengeti, with our packed lunches. Once we arrive, get ready for your first thrilling game drive across the vast savannas, spotting wildebeest, zebras, antelopes, and if you’re lucky, lions, leopards, and cheetahs. In the afternoon enjoy your lunch in a suitable place inside the park, then we continue with game drives before we reach the camp for dinner and a peaceful overnight surrounded by the sounds of the wild. The Central Serengeti is truly the heart of Africa’s wildlife. Here, the great migrating herds of wildebeest, zebras, and antelopes sweep across the plains in a spectacular display, while lions, leopards, and cheetahs roam freely, playing their vital role in the circle of life. With golden grasslands stretching to the horizon and sunsets that take your breath away, every moment in the Serengeti feels like a memory you’ll treasure forever. Accommodation: Kon Tiki Serengeti Camp. With an idyllic location in the middle of the wilderness, Kon Tiki Serengeti Camp rests in Central Serengeti, 30 min drive from Seronera airstrip. The camp is situated near the mighty Orangi river, which means wildlife walk through the camp frequently. Meal basis: Full Board - Dinner, Bed, Breakfast and Lunch.
Transfer Serengeti – Ngorongoro: 2 hours. Today you’ll wake up early for a magical morning game drive in the Central Serengeti, catching the sunrise and watching animals as they’re most active. After this unforgettable experience, we’ll drive to Karatu in the afternoon and take you to your lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight. It’s the perfect spot to relax, enjoy the view, and get ready for an early descent into the crater the next morning. Serengeti is more well-known for its great migrating herds of zebra, antelope, and wildebeest. Be ready to see resident predators, leopard, cheetah, and lion, fulfilling their role in the circle of life. Accommodation: Kankari Lodge. Kankari Lodge is located on the outskirts of Karatu town in the Ngorongoro Highlands. The lodge offers the perfect location for guests to explore the Lake Manyara National Park and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Meal basis: Full Board - Dinner, Bed, Breakfast and Lunch.
Transfer to Airport – For your international flight. After breakfast, you’ll descend into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater for a final, unforgettable game drive. This is a 3-day, 2-night private safari starting and ending in Arusha. Pick-up from your Arusha hotel or from Kilimanjaro International Airport is included, and we drop you back at the airport for your onward flight.
It is private. You have exclusive use of a 4x4 Toyota Land Cruiser with a pop-up roof and your own English-speaking guide, so the pace and the stops are yours to set.
Park entry fees, all transport in a 4x4 Land Cruiser, a professional English-speaking guide, full-board accommodation as listed in the itinerary, bottled drinking water during game drives, and all activities shown in the programme.
International flights, Tanzania visa, travel insurance, alcoholic and soft drinks at the lodges, laundry, tipping and personal expenses. Optional extras such as a hot air balloon ride, walking safari, night game drive or cultural visit can be arranged at additional cost.
June to October is the main dry season and the easiest time for game viewing. January to March is also excellent, with calving on the southern plains. The parks are open year round and we tailor the routing to the season.
